This is the pep talk I have to give myself at least once a week. Being a business owner and parent is one of the most enjoyable hard things we put ourselves through. It's rewarding and sacrificial. It's daunting and joyful all at the same time.
For years, I have been an entrepreneur finding what works for the various stages of parenthood. If it wasn't for me keeping record of my why I probably would have given up a long time ago. But our why stares at us everyday and says our name all day.
It's truly for the kids. The fights, the long nights, the barely slept brain, the push throughs. Everything has been for the kiddos.
So I created a start here article, one that you can go back to and remind yourself to get it done for the sanity of your mind, for the cash in your pocket, and for the little kiddo(s) running around.

Welcome to a place where you can be you and get stuff done at the same time. Where you have room to cry and get stuff done at the same time. Where you can have the children running around and still get stuff done.
You toiled for years, on how to really grow your business. How much you should give away for free when it comes to content.
What should you say, what should you not say to make a sale. What should I show to convince others that this is THE product for them.
Well I am here to tell you that this is the least of your worries if everything else is not in place. Usually the product/service you want to sell is "in place". You have an idea of how you want to offer it to your client or you made a few sales with close friends and family, but nothing to the point where your system has been tested.
If you aren't selling, you are fulfilling. If you aren't fulfilling, you are selling. If you are doing neither, you are scrambling to find someone to sell to. Do you get what I am saying?
1. You are doing multiple jobs
2. If you aren't doing one the other isn't getting done!
3. There is no true process in place

That's why I shifted the focus of Pumps and Profit, Next Level Branding Academy and my offerings.
You don't have a lot of time to figure everything out and do everything.
You want a way to get clients, service them and have them return and refer others, get paid, and feel like you can do what you want when you want and NOT worry about money.
You want a win-win-win situation. A win for you, your clients, and family. But that cannot happen if you do not have a process in place. One that can help you win.
So I designed my content around helping you create that win-win-win.
Take action
Take action on your goals, that's all I want you to do. The best way to do that is by doing these three things
- Develop a schedule that carves out at least 30 minutes a day (this can be together or in increments, just find the time). If you need help finding the time, track your time for a week to see when you are free. Like when you are watching tv, scrolling social media, in between washing loads of clothes, or when you are on the commode.
- Develop a budget to allocate funds consistently towards the growth of your business. Give your business a small loan quarterly so it can be paid back later TO YOU once money is made).
- Develop a life plan that incorporates a morning and night time routine habit that gets you in the mood and is a mood booster.
Start with these three honey do's and you will see a big difference in your life and business.
